Will I need someone to drive me to the appointment and take me home?

You will not need a driver to bring you to the appointment for a root canal procedure. You will be given a local anesthetic so that you are comfortable throughout the appointment. This will not affect your ability to drive. The only time we ask you have a driver is if you are undergoing oral conscious sedation.
